A 50,000-piece minimum order. That's how it began.

In 2023 my brother wanted to start his own perfume brand: Exceed Fragrance. He needed bottles, testers, packaging and shipping cartons. Some suppliers answered with a minimum order of up to 50,000 pieces, in total, for the whole project. For a brand that is only just taking shape, that is out of reach.

He approached ten suppliers. Some of them wanted a payment before the project had even been discussed in concrete terms. We didn't order from any of them. We simply didn't trust them.

After long research and many bad experiences we came across our current partner. From the first contact everything was different: no advance payment, no pressure, just honest conversations on equal terms.

In March 2024 we flew to China to meet him in person. He showed us the factory where he worked as sales director at the time, and invited us to a dinner that went late into the evening. That was the moment we knew: this fits.

He also told us how the business really works over there. The China trade is full of suppliers who lure with low prices and perfect samples, and after delivery the customers are disappointed. That was exactly the kind of partner we didn't want.

Our partner has worked in this industry for more than 15 years. He has since gone independent and works with partner factories of every kind. He has no factory of his own, and that is exactly the advantage: for every project he picks the factory that fits your requirements, not the one that happens to have capacity.

Since 2023 we can rely on him 100%. The quality meets our high standards. The business partner has become a friend.

We were lucky enough to keep searching long enough. Most founders have neither the time nor the nerves for that. They see “50,000 pieces”, and the dream of their own product is over before it has started.
